Research Experience for Undergraduates @ Brown University
The Brown MRSEC REU program offers undergraduate students the opportunity to work for ten weeks under the guidance of an MRSEC faculty member. During the 10 week program regular scheduled weekly activities for the REU students have been developed to broaden their knowledge of research. Several of these focus on the use of various experimental techniques in materials research whereas others will involve local industries and lectures on topics such as giving oral research presentations, preparing scientific posters and discussions on graduate studies.
