UMass REU

The UMass MRSEC Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program offers qualifying undergraduates a 10 week summertime opportunity to conduct research on polymers and materials science in a MRSEC-supported research group. Reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of MRSEC research, students from a broad range of undergraduate majors have participated, including Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Mechanical Engineering, and Mathematics. The program offers a stipend of $4,000 and on-campus housing for the duration of the program.
