PUMA, from PCCM, offers high school students an inquiry-based materials science program at Princeton, featuring hands-on labs, project-based learning, and faculty interaction, with annually varied curricula.

STEM Academy

The STEM Academy, in partnership with the Bronx Center for Science and Math, offers intensive physics and chemistry tutoring, faculty lectures, lab visits, and student panels during NYC public school breaks.

Science Clubs

Through our after-school science clubs, MRSEC volunteers work closely with a group of students to introduce them to scientific concepts and develop their interests and curiosity in STEM fields.

Science Events for Kids and Parents

Each July, Penn State MRSEC coordinates a science outreach event at the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, engaging ~1300 visitors through interactive demonstrations and fostering mentorship among volunteers.
